Not sure if this is the most suitable topic in which to post my inquiry. I've often re-read the lazy affiliate handbook, and the one section I'm keen to use is creating my own application to submit to software directories to promote my website(s).

Chris, you discuss in a section that you've used php scripts that can act as a tool
and can be applied to a profitable niche.
By this, do you mean you use this to php scripts to create your own unique stand alone applications?

Incidentally, I watched the video of the 'BlackMagic' person. The Multimedia Builder seems like a really good tool. Have you used this?

Chris or Robert -
Sorry if my previous comment came through twice, or perhaps not at all. Something goofy is happening when I submit a comment ... the next page is blank. Can't tell if it went through or not.

Just FYI.

Hi Stephen,

I'll upload the DL file to my other host and see if that works out better for you.

Just contact Robert (support) for the new link - I should have it up by tomorrow.

Thanks

-Chris

P.S. Only you and one other person has had this issue. It's strange. Literally hundreds of others have downloaded without any problems...

i bought the "vip product" package when it came out several weeks ago.

unfortunately, i found that the videos don't play more than about a minute because your server stops sending data after about 150KB.

i verified this many times on many different days. i asked support to provide a download link for the videos. this was done but only as a mega file of 200MB, which is too large for me to download. but i tried.

same problem. server stops sending data after 150KB. i download MBs of stuff routinely from all over the web, but your server is repeatedly problematic.

support says they done all they can for me.

am i really the only person not to be able to view the videos? it seems unlikely. it's shame, because there's virtually nothing in the ebook and i was looking forward to this product.

i'd suggest you use kunaki.com to provide your product on DVD (costs about $7 per unit, including shipping). at least that way i'd be able to get access to it. others too, i imagine.

Hahaha :-)

You crack me up, Mr. Applebaum.

Your witty prose would fare quite well to virtually any online audience. One can never underestimate the power of entertainment value.

Especially when it's blended harmoniously with a profitable topic.

(But that's getting into a whole other dimension of marketing...)

I will definitely keep your offer in mind as Copyright Law is something I have collided with a few times over the years...

Thanks again

Cheers

Dear Mr. Rempel:

Thank you taking the time to provide me with a highly substantive response.

The answer contained an excellent "angle of value" which should have been my first consideration.

It dawned on me that a core philosophy permates all your lessons: Any base product can be improved by helping the customer use it.

Put on the customer's shoes. I made a mistake by missing this important tree trying to see the whole woods. I will not make this mistake again.

And, it's so simple. Guiding my customers, who are recording artists, to use the directory data is as simple as telling them who to call / e-mail first.

Funny how easy it is to miss the simple action, which also happens to be the most important one.

I can not overstate how valuable this exchange has been for me. Eureka moment and all that. I owe you one. Print the following only if you find it appropriate:

If you ever have a question about United States Copyright Rules you are welcome to contact Eric D. Applebaum, Attorney At Law, Springfield, MA at info@musiccopyrightnow.com and I will endeavor to respond with my best answer free of charge.

The unnecessary length and pompous tone of this post will leave little doubt that I am, in fact, licensed to practice law.

Hi Chris,
I'm a Bum Marketer, but more importantly I'm a customer of yours. You've always over delivered on all of the products you offer.

I am eager to see this new product as I'm tired of doing this grunt work and want to make some real money.

Subect: "Review Sites"(Conduit-Sites)

Sorry, but I don’t get the hype - building review-sites is easy but where do you get the traffic from if you don’t use PPC?

I mean, organic traffic is ridiculous...Where are the benefits compared to article marketing? Writing keyword targeted articles is much faster.

Gerry,

I don't have a program.

I teach affiliate marketing tactics via information products (books, essentially).

The "program" I teach is content creation and business building.

Thanks

Dear Mr. Applebaum,

Thanks for the bear hug :-)

Here's some answers for you to get you going in the right direction:

1. Yes, depending on the job. Data entry and research usually comes pretty darn cheap.

2. I personally use GetAFreelancer.com and Elance.com. It's important to SCREEN your applicants and get previous samples, etc. Also, it may be wise to have mini-projects for multiple providers to see how they actually work. Then award the full project to the best provider.

3. It's all about the perceived value.

Here's a tip:

Create a directory, AS WELL AS the information on how to "use" the resources.

So craft your offer as the ultimate gold-mine of data AND blueprint for how to use it.

This could literally be a 10 minute screen capture video or a 10 page (or whatever) guide.

The content is what matters.

Not the "size".

Cheers
