Well, you just tell it how it is, I think 98 % of affliates don't make any money becasue they like the idea of doing well, but are just not willing to put in the effort that it takes.

Hey Chris -

I've only discovered your blog yesterday, spent the good part of today reading it and have to say I am quite impressed. Not only with the simplicity of the textbook content but the integrity and the mind set you seem to have as a business man.

Refreshing, relevant and useful!

I've built a solid web presence based on my mortgage business and consider myself as an internet marketer who happens to market mortgages. I'd like to take what I have learned over the years online, and create a new funnel of business. Your stuff seems like it will fill in that missing bit.

I haven't planned on buying the book, but based on the immensely valuable content I have gotten from you in your blog... I owe it to you AND I bet it will be more of the same; a high value treat!

Keep up the darn good work and I look forward to reading more and will share my successes in the affiliate world as they come.

Chris,

You mentioned getting content from Ezine, YouTube, etc.

What are the legal issues with that?

Do you cite the source on your webpage. If so, how (nofollow? put the link at the bottom?)?

Thanks!

Robert,

Links and content is one thing.

MARKET and OFFER are another.

I have a site with over 200+ pages and gets about 900 UV's a day and makes roughly $180 a month

I have another site with FIVE pages, gets about 200 UV's a day and makes over $100 a day.

The offer converts and the traffic is profitable.

It's WHAT you sell.

Not how.

I think that there are some VERY important subtleties associated with Keyword selection. I have learned quite a bit in this regard but given my total lack of sales with MSN LH and LinkuMate (since January), I may still be missing something(s).
Goggle, Yahoo and MSN visit my LH Blog sites once and sometime twice a day, but I am not ranking with the vast majority of my money sites. Anyway I will stick with it a bit longer.
With regard to the basic topic of Chris's post, I have considerable web presence (like a site with 1500 pages of content), squeeze page ebook giveaway, written articles on 3 ezines, links from Squiddo lens, links from Hubpages blogs, purchased 121 quality 1-way links, have 7 edu backlinks. Yup you know what I am going to say next .... I have very little traffic and not sure why. Oh yeah .. zero sales.
Chris, I love you man, keep it up, but somehow I am not "getting it" and I'm a freaking rocket scientist.

Chris..

I hope this guy was being sincere and not lying to you. I cannot believe that anyone would spend that amount of money in IM training and get a "low to no" result with that type of expenditure..

But, this is America and anything is possible. It is a shame really. As you mentioned, you could have bought a "ton" of established websites from Sitepoint, Digital Point, or just about any site that sells websites legitimately..

I can't imagine the "website wonders" and profit I could generate if I had that kind of cash as my disposal. I am in full agreement with what you say about people not getting the "work" part of building an Internet business. Could not have said it better myself..

@Brenda you come in preaching to us about how something doesn't work blah blah blah.... Well guess what how do you know it didn't work for me?

You seem to be spewing the same non-knowledge that you so easily say other "gurus" are doing. So the product didn't work for you, guess what?

It worked for me. You want to know how many blogs I set up for it to work, 12 blogs.

That look like 100+ to you? I mean sure I set up the blogs, made the money sites, and checked my ranking every week for about a month and saw that I was not even indexed for my money sites. but I didn't throw in the towel.

Knowing Chris and Dave I decided to just trust them, I went away from my sites for about 3 months and just paid them no mind.

Fast forward to that time, after 3 months I decided out of curiosity to see if the loophole had worked, and guess what. My sites were sitting in the top 1-3 spots in MSN for the keywords of each site.

Chris is the sole reason in this internet marketing game that I make enough a month after 6 months to pay the car payment for the car of my dreams. From following just one of his methods alone with one site, I now make enough $ a month to front the payment. So yes Chris is one of the good ones in my eyes.

I still work my day job making minimum wage, because anyone who has come from nothing to something knows it takes hard work and working smart.

I use the extra cash from my crappy retail job to buy domains, and expand my online business. What do you do to succeed at this?

Bash Chris and other "gurus" is what it looks like to me. If you would just read Chris's posts for what they are maybe you could take away something like the whole "stop spending your time whining and start spending your time doing"

The fact that Chris just layed out a COMPLETE method on how to make some $$ in the online world just shows who he is. So he promotes his list building product on the bottom? You act like all he said above it was 10 reason why you should buy his product, but he didn't he GAVE YOU the way to make money, he didn't even say "but you will need my product"

He understands that what he has built here is an empire of affiliates and internet marketers that know he really does have our best interests in mind, its just that a high % of people want to be fed the easy way.

He has given us all the tools you could want to compete and make money in this online world.

This little rant turned out to be longer then I expected, but it just bothered me the ignorance of your post Brenda.

Oh and Chris if you ever want/need any kind of testimonial I would be more then happy.
