The 14th won’t get here soon enough!

  • 2 adam // Jul 9, 2009 at 8:47 pm

That looks very impressive but are we using comments here.
And can it get anchored links.

    Looking forward to the release.

  • 3 Adrian // Jul 9, 2009 at 9:45 pm

    Awesome

  • 4 Adrian // Jul 9, 2009 at 9:45 pm

Would it be worth linking to blog sites for the msn strategy with this? I wouldn’t consider the blogs to be a high quality site to link to?

  • 5 Adrian // Jul 9, 2009 at 9:47 pm

    Chris,

Would you say this takes a fair deal of work ( similar to setting up blogs, getting them indexed, etc… for the loophole method) or is this merely point click and you have a backlink?

After watching this video, I’m actually more confused how this work, with even more questions about this widget.

Hopefully, the answer will come at July 14. :)

Very nice little software. I’m definitely interested in buying this tool. Just adds another type of backlinks to my sites. The more backlinks from different sources the better.

That’s awesome, Chris. Can’t wait for the 14th! Will there be a limited number of copies available?

  • 10 Joe // Jul 10, 2009 at 12:59 am

Excuse my stupidity, but how do you actually gain the link? Is there a submit button on the software? In comments on their site? Do you visit the target site manually?

    Cheers

    Hello Chris,

I am interested in Profit Loophole. I have not read the sales letter but I am interested in almost all your products anyway.

    I have some questions

    1) What skills do I need to learn to put up sites and then flip them and how long will it take for me to master those skills

    2) Can the work be outsourced over time

    3) How many man hours will be required to develop each site

    4) What is the average sales price for each site that I can expect when I go to sell them

    5) Is there a ready market for the sale of these sites (I suppose there is but just wanted to confirm)

    6) What are the costs other than domain name and hosting to put up these site. I suppose PLR content is one of them.

Many thanks for answering.I hope you do not feel that I have asked too many questions but I am excited by this opportunity.

    regards

    Nikhil

  • 14 K from Edmonton // Jul 11, 2009 at 2:03 am

    Hey Chris,

Wierd, buddy … Do you still live in Lloyd?? While I am from Edmonton, I drive out to Lloyd once a month for work – and despite being a becoming town, the weirdest stories happened to me while I was there:

    1. A starbucks just opened up, and I ended up chatting with the barista, WHO HOOKED ME UP with a sunshine girl model (she was not only beautiful but smart too, who would have thought?)

    2. I go to fill up gas at an Esso, and a SHERIFF comes up to me to ask me what I DO for a living (I guess I had this coming, being shaved head brown guy who drives a fancy car).

Haha! Did you end up moving?

I somehow feel that this has become more of a one way conversation – why don’t you shoot me a quick email?

    Later brah!

Not in Lloyd anymore dude :-)

    I’m in Victoria now…

Yep, anything nicer than a Lexus is going to draw some serious attention in that craphole…

I was planning on driving out there this year.

    Chris,
Ok, July 14th, cold day, he##. I’ve got 4 clients that need backlinks and without saying too much more, I’ve explained “Authority Sites” to them and given them a ‘hint’ about what this program will do. Now I can tell them on Monday, 7/13, that on Tuesday I will be getting this program and helping them out. They are all really good organizations and they want to rank locally. Like, Sheyboygan, Food Bank, these are some of the organizations I help on the internet. Chris, you are a really good guy. Thanks for doing this.
    My best to you,
    Tony Marino

    Sounds familiar Chris

Be hopes it does a better job than the other loophole you were recently connected to.

I sincerely hope so — i could do with some authority link juice on the MSN Money sites that are now cyber sqautting doing diddly squat!

  • 23 admin // Jul 11, 2009 at 10:47 pm

    @ Alan H,

Do you mean the same “loophole product” that still ranks our sample sites after 8 MONTHS?

    That one?

Yes, the MSN Loophole takes some horsepower.

And your sites will pull “diddly squat” if that is what your initial linking input to your blog network is.

Here comes the broken record… again.

    Get your blogs indexed fully.

Target keywords properly, using the domain names as per the blueprint.

Then wait, as it takes a few spiderings for the effect to work.

Sorry guys, but you can’t dispute the facts.

As always, organic rankings fluctuate, but this strategy clearly works for those who set it up properly.

    It’s not for newbies.

    Hi Chris,

Is there a significant difference between this and (let’s say) Market Samurai’s “Find Backlinks” function?
Hard to tell from video what, if anything, happens after the search.

Best of luck on the launch.

PS. July 14th is my birthday! ;-)

  • 26 Adrian // Jul 12, 2009 at 12:56 am

    Hey Chris,

Just want to point out that the PR5′s you mention in the video are only of the homepage of those sites, not the blog post page (those have 0). I am assuming the link would come from the homepage then since you said the link would be a PR5.

Just making sure we’re on the same page =)

  • 27 AMJ // Jul 12, 2009 at 1:06 am

    Further confusion -
Regarding a link shown in video:
2nd # from left is what Market Samurai shows as PR:
    http://www.fistofblog.com/2008/11/22/my-kids-wont-play-guitar-hero/
    2 0 3 4340

SEOQuake (Firefox plugin) also shows a PR of 0…

    Thanks

I am still building my Blog network and money pages so it will be a while before I can take advantage of this but I want you to keep me informed.

  • 30 admin // Jul 12, 2009 at 2:05 am

    A slight clarification:

The links placed are usually sitewide, even if the page that’s “sniffed” by the software is an inner page.

In addition, the ACTUAL authority carried on a PR0 page of a PR5+ site is much higher than that of, say a PR2 link of a PR3 site.

Just something I’ve seen over the years based on my own traffic.

Better site in general = more valuable link regardless of the page.

    -Chris

  • 31 admin // Jul 12, 2009 at 2:06 am

Also, yes, I stand corrected, the shown PR’s refer to the site itself.

    Will update that asap

  • 32 beempa // Jul 12, 2009 at 3:27 am

Hmm… seems more like a an exploit in the recent comments widget, whereby you’re not really making comments but rather using the exploit to appear on the comments widget itself so it looks like you made a comment. And since people do not check that module — the exploit could be VERY GOOD for everyone. I could be wrong, but it makes sense because the recent comments module is technically site wide.

  • 33 John Currie // Jul 12, 2009 at 3:39 am

The SE Loophole took a lot of work, plus it involved some expense setting up the network. I must say that initially I was left feeling like I had been taken, again…

After a couple of months I changed my ideas completely. These blogs are ranking, the sites are ranking plus the blogs are excellent for providing back links for new sites I build.

That network is 7 months old now and virtually everyone of the 20 one page sites I built are top of MSN, Bing whatever, plus they all are ranking in Google as well now.

I will getting this new script on the 14th .

  • 34 Sam // Jul 12, 2009 at 4:09 am

This video explains absolutely nothing about this app and how we get links. Pure fluff :)

looks like we need to wait for the launch day.. eh.

  • 35 Leo J. Vidal, JD, MA, CPA // Jul 12, 2009 at 5:57 am

Well I just checked it all out here: http://www.linkvana.com and it’s interesting.
They do the posting onto their blog network.
    It costs $147 per month.
You write posts or outsource through them.
Links back to content sites only.
    No duplicate content in posts.

I do not want to be negative but I feel I must say that there are other link programs on the web you can check out.

I also want to question the cost of this, but that is each person’s decision.

I posted a comment to a PR7 and a PR6 blog yesterday. Also got some nice posts with links on some .edu sites.

This is no free lunch. That is, it will take work to write the content for the blog posts. I know. I do a lot of it. Plus I do Yahoo Answers because I like to write.

So don’t think you just get some s/w and stick it somewhere and punch a key and bam you get 100 or 500 backlinks. Have to always look at time and money. I hope they are being totally upfront about the investment.

I need to look more closely at the benefit side to see what you really are getting in terms of links and therefore PR and SE rankings, and therefore traffic.

Chris – It is my understanding that Google frowns upon sitewide links a lot, almost to the “penalty” point. Yet at the same time, what another site does cannot harm your site. What is your thought on this? Also would these links benefit the blog sites for MSN? What would MSN consider an authority since they do not utilize pagerank?

  • 44 admin // Jul 13, 2009 at 1:14 am

Google does not frown on sitewide links.

    That is a myth.

Google MAY sandbox you though at first if you collect too many links at once.

    Hello Chris,

From the MSN Loophole, I have 40 Class-C IPs with 1 blog-network domain on each. They link to each other in the footer, and to the ‘money-sites’, in the sidebar (1-4 links random).

Now, as you answered a previous guy – they may do diddly-squat unless the blogs themselves are well linked? Is this correct? Does this mean that the diddly-squat can be fixed by using Authority loophole to get some authority links to say 10 of the blog sites so the overall network gets a boost?

  • 46 Tony // Jul 13, 2009 at 8:10 am

Trust but verify we will wait for the 14th and check it out.

  • 47 NaughtyNeo // Jul 13, 2009 at 10:13 am

I am not sure about the exact loophole.
But if this is about exploiting Top Commenters Plugin by filling out the exact same name of the top commentators for our own comments, then this is an old news.
I have great respect for all Chris’s products because they are original. However, in my opinion all these loophole and other stuff you are creating with Dave is damaging your reputation as unique internet marketer.
But then, it is your business and you have all the right to do what is making money for you.
    Regards,
    Neo

So when we use the exact name of a top commenter and comment we replace their links with ours BUT when the real top commenter comments again they will all be changed back to their links? Doesn’t seem too effective…

  • 54 Mel // Jul 14, 2009 at 9:18 am

I have downloaded the Authority Loophole software – thanks – and as NaughtyNeo says above, it is simply exploiting the Top Commenters loophole. Which is great, but my question is – what happens when the real commenter posts again with their own link – will all the links simply be overwritten back to the previous link again? Also, surely the real top commentators will notice that their links have been stolen?

  • 55 Daniel // Jul 14, 2009 at 9:44 am

I’m having an issue with Authority Loophole. When I try to pull info from Google I get a “Connection Error. The Inspection Will Stop” message. I thought it might have been my Comodo firewall blocking it, but it pulls from Yahoo and Bing fine, so I’m not sure.

Not every blog has active users.

Yes, because this is an exploit, SOME links may fall off, but if you build enough, SOME will not.

As for the viability of the strategy – it works very well.

Another thing is that you don’t have to always use the “namesteal” hack. You can find THOUSANDS of good, solid blogs where the top commenters only have a handful of comments.

So just make a few comments, and then you have a “legit” sitewide link.

Instead of continually criticizing things – why not actually TRY them yourself?

This is what happened when I stopped assuming I “knew” everything and tried things that obviously worked, even if some said they were controversial:

  • 60 Male // Jul 14, 2009 at 5:48 pm

Thanks for the free gift :)

  • 61 Radio Controlled Boats // Jul 14, 2009 at 6:51 pm

It’s funny too because on occasion I have found “my name” to use so it just replaces the person before me.

  • 62 Daniel // Jul 14, 2009 at 7:43 pm

    @ Radio Controlled Boats

That’s what I’ve been doing. In addition; if there are any in the top commenter list that don’t currently have a link, I go for them because they won’t have a link that I’ll end up overwriting.

Also, as Chris said, I’ve found some blogs where the top commenters have only 2-3 comments :)

when it works like the msn loophole did, then it it worth its money.
Get a lot of msn & bing traffic for one of my sites where I appied that concept.

  • 65 David Grahams // Jul 15, 2009 at 8:08 am

Watched the video ans this is indeed an
interesting concept and loophole to find.
Presumably, you wouldn’t be changing a post’s url back to your own website or blog as surely that would mean that as soon as the person on the blog finds out you have basically hijacked their posts with your own url, that they can easily track you down, and then ones reputation would take a hit ?

  • 66 Jack // Jul 15, 2009 at 8:33 am

    quote from a blog:

“Within the past two days, we’ve seen an uptick of blog comments using names of regular commenters on this blog, but not using the same e-mail address or website URL that was used in the past. In some circumstances, the comment has been out of context, but some have looked legitimate.

If you have commented here in the past couple of days and do not see your comment posted, let me know via a comment here or using the comment form.

As a rule of thumb, if a comment appears to be from a regular commenter but has an e-mail address we do not recognize or links to a suspect site we will consider it spam unless you tell us otherwise.

I’m sorry for this post and announcement, and I hope legitimate comments have not been deleted or can be replaced.”

I’m glad you didn’t charge for the authority loophole.

    thanks

  • 67 Daniel // Jul 15, 2009 at 9:04 am

    @ Jack

Like Chris said, you don’t have to use the TC exploit every single time :)

    Chris,

As a matter of clarification, if I was using the loophole for straight blog commenting; obviously using a keyword in your name field looks a bit iffy.

Would simply using an actual name still give the link some weight? After all, it’d still be from a site with “authority” right?

    Thanks,

    - Daniel

Yes – where is the software…? E-mail me if you could.

  • 69 Chris Thompson // Jul 15, 2009 at 10:30 am

Chris – too bad I wasn’t able to get together with you for coffee last time I was in Vic (time was so frikkin’ tight).

Haven’t downloade the software yet but am using the technique manually and WOW, it is very very cool. I agree, just DO IT and stop wasting time asking so many questions guys.

I’m uncomfortable pretending to be someone that I am not (using a fake name) and I’ve already seen a blog mention this new form of “spam” in a posting today. So here’s what I think people could do that would be a legitimate totally ethical move:

    1) Find blogs that use the plugin and are not drowning in comments

    2) Add the blog to your RSS feed so you can constantly monitor it.

    3) Make enough genuine comments on the blog with your real name so that you get a position in the top commenters box.

    4) Submit new comments on occasion to maintain the position.

VERY awesome of you to give this tool away for free. VERY. AWESOME.

  • 70 Shin // Jul 15, 2009 at 7:04 pm

It’s only been a day, and I’m already finding blogs that went into lockdown down mode because of “impersonation” and being spammed at the same time.

I’ll be trying out even more unique keyword phrases and hopefully the spammers hasn’t hit them yet.

  • 71 JD (1to1million.com) // Jul 16, 2009 at 12:26 am

This is a new level of ‘Identity Theft’. YES! its black hat… and don’t kid yourself ‘It is 100% unethical’.

I downloaded the software, which in itself is a great blog comment searching tool. So thanks for that!

I watched the video that came with the software and it’s the tactic of impersonation that just feels dirty and goes against everything I though Chris Rempel stood for?

I tried the tactic about 15 times, and actually I saw no change to my targeted top comentor’s url??? Maybe it takes time to update?

Chris Thompson has the right idea!!!
    – use the software to find said blogs
    – narrow down the best blogs based on Theme, PR and valid interest to maintain a subscription.
    – Become the legitimate/respected top commentator.
    – just become the top comment

  • 72 Carlos // Jul 16, 2009 at 4:07 pm

    Hey Chris,

One downfall about this free linking method is that the anchor text is the website URL or name… so even though you can get a PR5 link it will not have the same SEO value as having the same link but with keyword rich anchor text…

Is there a way to use this method using any desired anchor text link?

    Thanks!

    Carlos

  • 73 Get Rid of Warts // Jul 16, 2009 at 7:09 pm

Even though you may be using different anchor text does not mean that the link is valueless. A link from an authority site is still something that can and will bring visitors to your site and is still valued by Google and the other search engines.

    Have a great day.
